XP.NETWORK and World of V: hundreds of NFTs bridged already

PROJECT OVERVIEW
PROJECT OVERVIEW

World of V is one of the leading NFT marketplaces on VeChain – a blockchain that we’ve been working with a lot. To date, XP.NETWORK has helped move 700+ NFTs from World of V-traded projects like ExoWorlds, Forest Nation, and Ukiyoe Warriors to expand to Polygon and Ethereum and get listed on OpenSea and Rarible.

Why are VeChain NFTs becoming so popular?

VeChain was created primarily with enterprise applications in mind, such as reducing carbon emissions. In fact, many large businesses already use it. But it also gained a lot of popularity with NFT blockchains, because it’s a fast, efficient, and cheap network.

If you hold VET in an official VeChain wallet, it will automatically generate the VTHO tokens needed to make transactions, so you could say that gas fees are zero. Plus, VeChain is a very environmentally friendly network – an important factor considering the debate on NFTs’ large carbon footprint

World of V and XP.NETWORK: use cases and the best tools for NFT projects

World of V positions itself as VeChain’s biggest marketplace for ‘green NFTs’. It offers 0 gas fees when creating and listing collectibles. Here you’ll find all the top collections on VeChain, such as VeKings, Mad V-Apes, VVAR Dogs, ExoWorlds, ZillyZombies, Goatz Club, etc.

The marketplace has its own token, WoV, which allows users to unlock special benefits. You can generate free WoV (10 to 500 per day) by minting special Genesis cards.

XP.NETWORK is already collaborating with many popular collections listed on VeChain. This helps projects get the best of both worlds, reaching out to new audiences on chains like Ethereum and Polygon. VeChain is great for NFTs, but it’s not that well-known yet, so expanding to additional chains can give a project a great advantage.

For example, imagine you have a metaverse collection on VeChain and you bridge just a few dozen of your NFTs to Polygon and list them on OpenSea. You can accompany it with a promo campaign to attract the attention of the huge OpenSea community to your unique art.

The NFTs can fetch a higher price on Polygon than they would on VeChain, but that’s not the point: the real advantage is that you’ve attracted new users outside of the original ecosystem. Now you can offer them perks for using the product (metaverse, game, staking etc.) back on VeChain.

XP.NETWORK offers the best tool for such campaigns: batch NFT transfers. Projects can bridge hundreds or thousands of NFTs at the same time and save massively on gas fees.

Alternatively, you can offer your community on the original chain some incentives to bridge their NFTs to Polygon or elsewhere, and perhaps to list them on OpenSea. This will scale up the bridging campaign and create even more visibility and sales. For this purpose, the best tool is the XP.NETWORK widget, which a project can customize and integrate into their website.

From World of V to OpenSea and Rarible: hundreds of NFTs bridged using XP.NETWORK

In the past few months, we have helped several popular projects bridge hundreds collectibles to and from VeChain. Here are just a few of them.

ExoWorlds: a sci-fi MMORPG where you can build civilizations on unique planets.
Over 700 ExoWorlds NFTs have been bridged to Ethereum so far: the single biggest bridging campaign involving VeChain in our experience. You can view many of these items on OpenSea.

Ukiyoe Warriors: several collections hand-drawn in the traditional Japanese Ukiyoe style. NFTs from both the original Warriors and the Yokai collections have been bridged to Polygon and Ethereum and listed on OpenSea.

Forest Nation – a hidden metaverse kingdom located in a beautifully designed forest environment.
Several dozen NFTs from 3 collections (Keepers, Guardians, and Nobles) were bridged to Polygon and listed on Rarible (examples).

We’ve also recently bridged an NFT to VeChain from Tezos – an absolute industry-first, as far as we know. The project is called Twisted, and you can now find it on World of V

Check out the VeChain bridging video series

By the way, we have posted a whole series of educational videos about bridging NFTs to and from VeChain. They are geared at blockchain developers and explain how to initiate batch NFT transfers using just back-end code with XP.NETWORK’s JavaScript API library.

You’ll learn how to create accounts, populate them with NFTs, display those NFTs, select some of them, and bridge to a selected address on a different chain. All this without going through the bridge front-end UI – code only! Check out the videos in our XP Shorts playlist
